The flange and bolt are integrally cold-formed (without welding), providing excellent mechanical integrity; Grade 10.9 material offers a tensile strength of ≥ 1040 MPa and a yield strength of ≥ 940 MPa. The bottom of the flange typically features serrations (radial teeth) to provide superior anti-loosening performance. Surface coatings such as Zn–Ni alloy or Dacromet enhance corrosion and wear resistance, with salt spray test performance exceeding 500 hours.

Thread sizes range from M6 to M24, with lengths from 5 mm to 150 mm and thread accuracy of 6g. Flange diameters range from 12 mm to 40 mm, thicknesses from 2 mm to 6 mm, and serration patterns can be customized. The cold-forming process ensures a smooth transition from the head to the shank, avoiding stress concentration and providing greater load-bearing capacity than a bolt-and-washer combination.
